Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Rombyk provides free written painting estimates. Send your project address and describe the rooms or exterior surfaces you want included.
How much does painting cost?
The price depends on the included surfaces, their condition, preparation, access, materials, color changes, and number of coats. The written estimate defines the work for your property. How do estimates work?
Submit the estimate form with your address, contact details, and requested work. Photos can help with the initial review. Rombyk arranges an on-site evaluation to review the included surfaces, preparation, access, and protection before preparing the written scope.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Rombyk Painting is licensed and insured in Washington. Contractor license: ROMBYPL800M3. Documentation is available on request.
Do you provide a warranty?
A 3-year workmanship warranty applies to qualifying painting work. The written proposal and applicable warranty terms define coverage and exclusions.
What paint brands do you use?
The coating is selected for the surface, existing finish, and agreed work. Rombyk’s North Tacoma exterior project used Sherwin-Williams Duration® Low Lustre. The written estimate specifies the proposed materials for your project.
Do you protect floors, furniture, cabinets, and landscaping?
Yes. Protection is part of the prep process. Interior projects include floor and furniture covering; exterior projects include protection for windows, doors, landscaping, and nearby surfaces.
What is your process?
Inspection and consultation, material selection, surface preparation, painting, cleanup, and final walkthrough.
What are your business hours?
Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday by appointment. Sunday closed.
Do you handle surface preparation and minor repairs?
Yes. Preparation can include cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and primer where needed for the included surfaces. The estimate identifies preparation and scoped minor repairs. Additional repair work is defined separately.
How long does a painting project take?
Timing depends on the number of rooms or exterior surfaces, preparation, access, color changes, and included coats. The schedule also accounts for the chosen coating’s drying requirements and, for exterior work, suitable weather conditions. The project schedule is discussed before work begins.
How does kitchen cabinet painting work?
The installed cabinet frames are painted in your home over two days. The doors are then taken to Rombyk’s finishing workshop for painting and returned about one week later.
